earmark kravel showroomI often stop into the Kravet/FDO showroom in the Boston Design Center to see what is new. The vignettes are inspiring and a good catalyst for color inspiration. Also, a great place to shop for not only fabrics and furniture, but accessories. I saw a great set of glass vases in hot pink & orange adjacent to a striking display of crisp white accessories punctuated by a wild hot raspberry and zesty orange wall covering. (see Photo). I got even more inspired as I was walking by F. Schumacher on the 5th. Floor of the BDC and saw a beautiful assemblage of swatches in shades of orange on the table. (see photo at top)

We took a very safe & neutral beige/black living room and gave it a shot of vitamin ā€œCā€. Just look at what a little juicy mandarin orange can do by just adding it to pillows, an accent chair and an accessory on the cocktail table.
